Casa Leon Collioure Restaurant Review

Casa Leon Restaurant Collioure Front

If you're wandering through Collioure’s alleys and hanker after some nice seafood, Casa Leon is a good port of call.

This nautical-themed bistro, a veritable 'Comptoir de la Mer', offers a medley of sea-centric offerings with the likes of Anchovies & Boquerones and a Tartare de Saint-Jacque as starters.

Other reliable choices to start are the Gambas prawns and the jamon Bellota a la planxa.

For mains, I liked the Ceviche of Dorade Royale, the hearty fish soup, the Calamars et Chorizo and a Thon snacké mi-cuit Chimichurri.

If you're leaning towards terra firma, meat options include Magret de Canard and a good Entrecôte.

Finally, the Desserts beckon with the cheeky Paris Brest, a Mousse au Chocolat named after Léa, and if you're feeling particularly indulgent, a Café très gourmand that comes with a little extra.
